Ceramics
If you are working with ceramics, you will paint your piece and our staff will glaze it and fire it in our kiln. You will have to return to pick it up at a later date after it is fired. (We do not fire during business hours.)
Cost
Your studio fees to cover paint, equipment use, supplies, firing and glazing will depend upon the size of your piece. Individual ceramic pieces range in price from $5.00 to $60.00. You will pay a $3.00 studio fee for each ceramic piece priced under $7.00, a $5.00 studio fee for each ceramic piece priced between $7.00 and $15.00, and an $8.00 studio fee for each ceramic piece priced over $15.00. So if you paint a $10.00 ceramic piece, your cost will be $15.00 plus tax ($10.00 for your ceramic piece plus $5.00 for the studio fee).
